Spettacolari

Divano in marmo

This was a prop build for an Italian cable provider's commercial. The main structure is comprised of lumber with a foam skin, then sculpted to mimic real fabric.

We had scenics come in to "marbleize" the base and couch to complete the effect.

Logo Circuit

In house promotion via competition.

A local car insurance company was looking for some unique furniture to place in their new office.

We took their logo and built a slot car track out of it. The hard part was engineering the curved cross track as one was not commercially available.

I designed the cross track in CAD, then 3d printed it out using a PLA plastic.

This is hands down my favorite build to date.

Japanese Blinds

Sectional, luminescent, and versatile.

These were built for Charles River Studios to be used as backdrop elements for photo shoots and promotional short films.

They are 4'x10' pine panels with frosted acrylic inserts. The studio places LED lights behind the panels and the acrylic will take whatever the LED color is.

The panels are paired in two's and hinged in the center, making them somewhat modular.

Squished!

Play Doh industrial squisher.

Hasbro needed a large Play Doh squisher for a pilot game show idea. It turned out this large squisher is far more fun to play with than the small plastic ones that I had as a kid.

Disco Silhouette

Backlit Backdrops

A simple backlit silhouette prop for a company party. The initial design was mocked up in 1/10th scale before the final version was built.

They are hand cut and made of 3/16" foam core, then painted black. The translucent frost is diffusion paper.
